Cottage Cheese Baby Muffins

These soft and healthy cottage cheese baby muffins are perfect for babies 6 months and up! Made with wholesome ingredients — they’re naturally sweet, easy to digest, and ideal for baby-led weaning or transitioning from purées to solids.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fine semolina
  • 1/2 of a ripe banana
  • 1/2 finely grated apple

Instructions
 

Oven Method:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a bowl, mash the banana and apple
  • Add cottage cheese, yogurt, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  • Stir in semolina and let the mixture sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  • Pour into silicone mini muffin molds (don’t overfill).
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes or until the tops are firm and slightly golden.

Steamer Method:

  • Follow the same prep steps above.
  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds.
  • Place molds into your steamer basket or steaming tray.
  • Cover and steam for 15–18 minutes, until muffins are set and springy.
